We sat down with West Virginia's folk singer/songwriter Andrew Adkins and recorded a live set featuring three of his most genuine songs. Here he performs “Fragile Heart" off his newest album "Who I Am."
"I remember every word, of every lesson I've learned, even the ones that tore me apart, they all shape this fragile heart," Adkins sings.
We sat down with West Virginia's folk singer/songwriter Andrew Adkins while he performed "Burning the Tires Off," in this intimate set performed on his own front porch. This folk ballad recounting his first vehicle, a 1969 Chevy truck his father gifted him at the age of 14, radiates with nostalgia of childhood youth, American industrial spirit, and the father-son relationship.
