A little about us
Our Story
Founded in 2019 by brothers Anthony and Nathan Greene, The Folkway is a media production company based in the New River Gorge National Park in Southern West Virginia. We're dedicated to telling stories the folk way, capturing culturally significant stories and connecting those stories with people and brands.
What started out as two avid outdoorsmen with a creative passion has turned into a full-service media production team with knowledge in outdoor recreation, tourism, the creative arts, and how visual marketing intersects with all of these to fuel economic development and sustainable growth.
With years of experience working with numerous tourism boards, adventure resorts, nonprofits, local communities, and national brands, we’ve created dozens of captivating media campaigns that showcase both the beauty of our collective cultural heritage, as well as stimulate growth in their respective markets.
Whether it's high-end commercials, short or feature documentary films or marketing and advertising campaigns, we produce visual content that resonates with viewers, regardless of genre, scale or platform. From creating the overall strategy, to organizing and executing the shoot, to managing the multifaceted post-production process, we ensure our clients’ projects are seamless from start to finish.
Stories told the Folkway.
